We have been providing a friendly, independent service to commercial clients since 1991. Our clients cover the full range from national retail multiples to sole traders.

We keep abreast of changing legislation and technical advances so that our clients receive up-to-date advice. We produce clearly written reports and documents which, where appropriate, include high quality digital images. We have special expertise in geological conditions and flood risk.

We cover much of southern England but may travel further afield for large projects.

Commercial Surveys and Condition Reports

A pre-acquisition survey (of freehold or leasehold) property will enable you to plan your maintenance requirements or to foresee complex dilapidation risks.

Condition reports of your existing buildings will help you to plan maintenance, prior to letting or subletting, or at lease renewals.

Dilapidations

Ensure that your tenant is complying with lease covenants by commissioning us to prepare a Schedule of Dilapidations, or defend yourself against unreasonable Landlords’ schedules .

Defect Diagnosis

Are you worried by cracks or other building defects? We will investigate individual problems and provide you with a clearly worded report.

Reinstatement Cost Assessment

Make sure you are adequately insured - or insurers may apply averaging and not pay out the full amount.

Listed Buildings

We have great experience of listed buildings, including those which are used for commercial purposes.

Plans and Drawings

We can prepare a plan of a few rooms or a total station survey of a large site.
